
FOODOKO is a heartfelt legacy woven from humble beginnings, perseverance, and the authentic taste of India. Our story began in 1975, when Shrimati Ramidevi Laxmandas Savlani started making papads from her home under the Gruh Udyog scheme. Her eldest son, Shri Govindram Laxmandas Savlani, took over at age 14, laying the foundation for Mahalaxmi Gruh Udyog, which later evolved into FOODOKO WORLD PRIVATE LIMITED. The brand FOODOKO was officially launched in 2000 under his leadership.
His vision is now carried forward by his three sons: Mr. Akash Savlani joined in 2009, strengthening roots in the Indian market. Mr. Rahul Savlani expanded the brand globally from 2018, taking Indian flavors overseas. Mr. Hemant Savlani leads presence in government tenders, HORECA, and modern trade sectors. Today, FOODOKO offers over 40 high-quality products, including Ground Spices, Blended Spices, and Papads, available in multiple pack sizes. Current production capacity is 30 metric tons per day, with a planned increase of an additional 50 metric tons with a new 135,000 sq. ft. facility near Ahmedabad.
